User Guidelines

This User Guideline has been prepared on behalf of the following Witzer Group of entities:

  • Witzer Pty Ltd (ACN 661 719 526)

Witzer operates an escrow and payment service designed for any contract where payment is made on completion or delivery of a product or service, particularly where payment is made via milestone payments or instalments.

This document outlines the process for Witzer platform users in relation to complaints and access project history.

This guidelines compliments the terms and conditions, outlined in the Witzer Group:

Witzer collects your personal information when you use our Platform via our website or mobile app, including:

  • Collection Statement
  • Privacy Policy
  • Terms and Conditions

Complaints

If a complaint arises from a user in regards to messages received, photos or documents, or in general, any communication received via the Witzer platform, Witzer will:


We collect, hold, use and disclose personal information about our Platform account holders to:

  1. Investigate each user profile and the related interaction or communication;
  2. Contact both parties regarding the interaction or communication; and
  3. If Witzer deems the interaction to be inappropriate or offensive, provide a warning to the offending party and monitor future communications and projects; and/or
  4. If Witzer deems the interaction to be unlawful or in breach of Witzer policies, cancel the account of the offending user, and notify the authorities.

If a user’s profile is cancelled due to breach of policy and/or unlawful behaviour, any money in that user’s Witzer wallet, will be refunded to the linked bank account, unless Witzer is notified otherwise, by legal authorities.

 

Project History

If a user wishes to access a log of the full project history including claims and transactions, messages, documents and photos shared and any other details attached to the project, they can request this information by emailing info@witzer.com.au.

Witzer will provide the full history in PDF format within 5 business days. All users attached to the project will be notified via email that the history has been downloaded by another party, within 5 business days of supplying the content.
